CABLE COFFEE

Cable Coffee is what happens when…

Cable Coffee is what happens when the owners of Cable, on holiday, find themselves in a French flea-market as usual, browsing rusty old pieces of machinery from a bygone era. Amongst the usual pieces of art-deco furniture, vintage advertisements and old car parts sits a friendly looking machine. Careworn but sturdy, it is clearly an old coffee roaster. An inspection follows a conversation with the antique dealer, and before you can say ‘locally roasted’, the roaster is bought, a shipping container is booked and Cable Coffee is born.

Sitting snug in the corner of our busy bakery kitchen, our reliable old roaster dutifully chugs out around 200kg of coffee a week from a variety of origins. Cable Coffee like to keep things interesting, so the country of origin of our coffee changes once in a while, but you can be guaranteed it’s all fair-trade and organic. Common origins of our beans are usually South American: Guatemala, Honduras, Peru, Mexico and Brazil have all been featured.

You can buy our coffee in any of our establishments, whole or ground. For wholesale or bulk enquiries, please send an email to cablebakeryltd@gmail.com
